Résumé:In the first part, Oskar Pfister sets out his ideas on training in psychoanalysis before defining the contours of what he calls “pedanalysis.” With this term, he proposes a kind of fusion between pedagogy and psychoanalysis. He asserts that “pedanalysis” is the responsibility of teachers, who must be able to treat both “healthy” and “sick” pupils. Finally, he emphasizes the limits and even the dangers of “unbridled pedagogical analysis.” This text, published in 1913, bears witness to Pfister’s first thoughts on the application of psychoanalysis to pedagogy and to the enthusiasm that led Freud to take an interest in education/pedagogy.
