| Streszczenie: | In this contribution we develop a reflection on the verb that started more than 10 years ago. The verb is indeed a major pedagogical target at school to the point that it often has a specific “conjugation” section. In this paper, we focus on the teaching and learning of the verb at school. Using data provided by the REAlang research, we confront the performances of pupils from 8 to 10 years old to the reported knowledge to explain the verb, in order to perceive the curricular progression in relation to the institutional prescriptions. Our aim is above all to understand pupils, to grasp the pedagogical practices in order to rethink more relevant didactic strategies to improve the learning of the verb at school. |
