| Summary: | In this article we discuss Michael Crichton’s distinctive use of educational and research skills in representing professional practices and manufacturing specialized knowledge to document his fiction with scientific plausibility. Among ideas for future consideration and research, we suggest that his trajectory as a fiction writer and the multidisciplinary nature of his works calls for an additional—not necessarily alternative—look at FASP authorship. |
