Après avoir souligné les divergences de point de vue entre la statistique et la sociologie sur la manière d’appréhender les « populations difficiles à atteindre », cet article se propose d’explorer différentes façons de définir l’écart par rapport à une norme, la périphérie par rapport à un centre et de montrer comment, selon le choix du critère d’inclusion adopté, la taille et le sens du groupe statistique constitué sont extrêmement variables. |
