Samenvatting:This article seeks to understand the impact of the governance of the translation process of a tourism development project on the evolution of controversies. It is based both on the conceptual field of controversies as open discussion spaces and on actor-network theory as an analytical framework. Based on action-research carried out within the communauté de communes du Grand Chambord over a three-year period, this unique case study characterizes the controversies, summarizes them, and analyzes their evolution, revealing the major role played by the various intermediaries working alongside the main translator.
