Shrnutí:Is feminism compatible with mainstream TV cop shows? In the early 1980s, Cagney and Lacey made an impact on television. With its openly feminist agenda, the show broke away from a tradition of glamorized female law enforcers on screen, concentrating on a duo of ordinary New York female cops whose work resonated with the situation of women both at home and in the work place.
