| Crynodeb: | The well-being of children is guaranteed by a healthy diet. The objective of this article is to analyze the influence of the components of parental style on children's eating behaviors in the context of parents' self-perception and life. A mixed methodology was adopted. Thus, the semi-structured interviews were carried out using an interview guide on a sample of 26 individuals including 3 experts in order to understand the components of parental style which affect eating behaviors. Four components were retained. This study is supplemented by a questionnaire on a sample of 570 individuals who were the subject of structural equation modeling using partial least squares (PLS). The results showed that perceived responsibility: food surveillance; Concern about weight and assistance with eating positively and significantly influence children's eating behaviors. but this influence varies by the interaction of self-acceptance and life. |
