| Sammanfattning: | Faced with both internal and external pressures, business schools are being asked to integrate issues of environmental transition into their courses in order to educate their students on current and future issues. This means questioning the nature, stance and context of their teaching. From this perspective, teacher-researchers (TRs) have a key role to play, as demonstrated by various authors. Focusing on TRs who teach topics related to the environmental transition in business schools, the aim of this research is to understand the reasons for their engagement. To do this, we conducted a series of semi-structured interviews with fourteen teacher-researchers working in seven different business schools who have already integrated the environmental transition into their teaching activities: we call them ecologically committed TRs (ECTRs). What emerged from these interviews was a typology of ECTR according to the reasons for their commitment to teaching the environmental transition: responsible critical ECTR, pragmatic ECTR and opportunistic ECTR. The emergence of this last category highlights a change in the way business schools take environmental transition into account. |
