סיכום:By avoiding the debate which opposes methodological individualism and sociological holism, the analytical theory of action elaborated by Anscombe, von Wright and Davidson allows the contributions of phenomenology and hermeneutics to be integrated into a theoretical frame, consequently bridging the gap between intention and cause and identifying it with the difference between the various possible descriptions of action. Praxis-centered theories can no longer do without this fundamental, if indirect, reassessment.
