| Résumé: | This essay discusses the “Visualizing a Canadian Author Archive: Alice Munro” project, a collective effort to gather data on a segment of the Alice Munro papers held at the University of Calgary in Calgary, Canada, and visualize the interrelations of the archival materials. Researchers gathered data on drafts of stories published in two of Munro’s collections: Who Do You Think You Are? (1977) and The Moons of Jupiter (1983), as well as correspondence relating to each story with magazines and publishing houses. The goal of the project was to visualize the genetic evolution of the stories, including in relation to each other. The paper includes examples of preliminary visualizations and offers considerations for further research. |
