The Evolution of Holocaust Remembrance in Israeli Society
For the Jewish prisoners who lived to see the day of liberation from concentration and extermination camps, the Holocaust did not end with the capitulation of National Socialist Germany. They had to try and start a new chapter of their life-alone and full of pain and shame.
