| Résumé: | The aim of this article is to analyze the narratives about hope present in new Polish historical museums. The authors refer to Rebecca Solnit’s book and make a distinction between “dispersed” and “petrified” hope. The subject of the analysis is the narratives about the People’s Republic of Poland presented in three museums: the European Solidarity Centre in Gdansk, the Dialogue Centre Upheavals in Szczecin and the Emigration Museum in Gdynia. |
