| Resumo: | Kościelniak looks at the Solidarity movement (Solidarność) in the years 1980/81 form the perspective of women’s rights. He demonstrates that the moral discourse of the anti-Communist opposition, rooted in national and Catholic values, was a discourse of power. Focusing on reproductive rights, Kościelniak takes the so-called anti-abortion law introduced in 1993 as a point of departure.
