| Résumé: | Composed before 1460, the prose version of Beuve de Hantone soon went into print, thanks to Antoine Vérard, who published the editio princeps in Paris between 1499 and 1502. This note studies the wording of certain chapter titles, comparing in particular manuscript P1 (Paris, BnF, fr. 12554) and the Vérard edition; the collation confirms the relationship between these two witnesses, as well as the philological interest of early printed editions, even in the presence of an earlier manuscript tradition. |
