| Summary: | At the end of this extremely rich and historical conference, I draw two conclusions for myself right now, on the spot. The first is that the theoretical potential of the papers is enormous and that we need to find ways to ensure that this potential will indeed materialise. The second conclusion is that it seems to me as if we are caught in the terms of the anti-gender debate as these are set by the opponents that we study. This is unproductive for both our academic and political goals, as for our potential future achievements. We will need to find ways to zoom out and set the terms of the debate differently. |
