| 要約: | This text is a thematic development of a completed doctoral research project, the objective of which was to understand the emergence of a political subject in the city of São Paulo: “homeless elderly people”. The analytical path of the research was based on the articulation of public and social policies in the same city that gave rise to a specific type of public facility: the modality Centro de Acolhida Especial para Idosos (CAEI) - Special Shelter for the Elderly People. Thus, the article addresses the conditions of institutional reception, homelessness of the residents interviewed in the study, and the relationship between support networks and distrust in the institution. |
