Sumari:The article offers an analysis of the strategies of self-representation in the ego-documents of Izabella Grinevskaia (1854(?)-1944), a Russian poet, writer and translator active in the first third of the 20th century. It reveals the contrast between Grinevskaia’s authentic biography and the information she puts forward, sometimes distorting facts from her biography in order to bridge the gap between her self-chosen image and her real life. The article shows to what extent this life-creation strategy influenced the choice of ego-documents Grinevskaia kept for future readers, the content of her memories and the narrative structure of her memoirs.L’article propose une analyse des stratégies de mise en scène de soi dans les ego-documents d’Izabella Grinevskaja (1854(?)-1944), poétesse, écrivain et traductrice russe active dans le premier tiers du xxe siècle.
