| Samenvatting: | The article analyses the changes in labour law brought about by globalisation and digital transition, investigating, in particular, the consequences on some basic values including, in particular, the protection of the right to privacy and the respect of private life in the employment relationship. Particular attention is devoted to the critical interpretation of Article 8 of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, through a critical analysis of the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights in the light of the most relevant cases dealt with, with a specific focus on the identification of the parameters of legitimacy of video surveillance and remote control activities, also in the perspective of European regulation of the use of artificial intelligence systems. |
