| Resumo: | Radio is changing due to its presence on the Internet, so this article focuses on understanding how Portuguese radio news uses new platforms to promote user participation. The study analyses the online tools available on the websites and in the social networks of Portuguese news radio and explores user uptake of these tools. We came to the conclusion that news radio stations in Portugal has different policies regarding user participation. Also, users themselves have not yet adopted the Internet for participation. |
