| 要約: | Over the last twenty years some challenges (increase of electoral abstention, a higher volatility, protest voting) have significantly affected Italian party system. The aim of this article is to investigate how mainstream parties have changed in response to rise of anti-established parties and widespread and growing disaffection with traditional political party system. Our research strategy is to look to the Democratic Party - Pd, the Union of Christian Democrats - Udc, Go Italy - Fi and the National Alliance - An. Drawing upon dataset of national party delegates as well as existing empirical research, the article seeks to explore whether and how the mainstream parties, belonging to center -left, center and center-right area, have fostered political innovation in three key dimensions of party analysis: organizational level, ideological level and strategic level. |
