| Sažetak: | This paper offers a comparative reading of Rabih Alameddine’s The Wrong End of the Telescope (2021) and Rawi Hage’s Carnival (2012) and aims to shed light upon diasporic literature’s potential to question Western cultural hegemony. It does so by analyzing the role played by contrapuntal consciousness in the identification and structuring of borderscapes as representational spaces, reappropriated by marginalized individuals through a series of material and discursive practices, including literary fiction. |
