| Resumo: | Following the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union all its previous alliances have been in question. This paper intends to chart the UK’s efforts to reconceptualize its place in the world and follows Britain’s journey of rediscovery from the early days of the ‘Global Britain’ narrative to the emergence of a more substantive, if still evolving, foreign policy.
