The curators chose these themes to introduce Art as Revelation, the final collective exhibition marking the culmination of the scheme. At the end of the project, in August 2022, artists and researchers were invited to revisit these themes as a starting point for reflecting on their experience: How did the collaborations influence their research process? How did the discussions around revelation reshape the way they thought about the relationship between words and images? Participants shared the main challenges encountered during the collaborative and creative development phase of the scheme, as well as the areas of overlap they established between academic and artistic knowledge. Reconnecter, réitérer et révéler sont les trois thèmes récurrents qui ont émergé lors des réunions de suivi saisonnières entre les curatrices, Dr Nicole Ruta et Dr Rebekah Dyer, et les partenariats interdisciplinaires formés dans le cadre du dispositif collaboratif TheoArtistry: Text & Image Scheme (2021). Les curatrices ont choisi ces thèmes pour introduire Art as Revelation, l’exposition collective finale marquant l’aboutissement du programme. À la fin du projet, en août 2022, les artistes et les chercheur·es ont été invité·es à revisiter ces thèmes comme point de départ pour réfléchir à leur expérience : comment les collaborations ont-elles influencé leur processus de recherche ? En quoi les discussions autour de la révélation ont-elles remodelé leur manière de penser la relation entre les mots et les images ? Les participant·es ont partagé les principaux défis rencontrés lors de la phase de développement collaboratif et créatif du programme, ainsi que les zones de recoupement qu’ils et elles ont établies entre savoirs académiques et connaissances artistiques. urn:doi:10.4000/16ovb |
