| Resumo: | In conjunction with the colloquium “Le Musée : voir et faire voir autrement” this author was invited to think about her experience as a guest curator in various museums. This document begins by presenting the Archives Antoni Clavé. Next, it outlines three ways of thinking about the museum--as a place of adhesion, reflexion and discovery--, through three concrete examples. First, it examines the dialogue between works displayed in permanent collections (Antoni Clavé Assemblages, musée de l’Hospice Saint-Roch à Issoudun). Next, it considers works taken out of storage (Antoni Clavé - Estampes, Bibliothèque nationale de France, Paris). Finally, it studies remodeling permanent galleries after a successful temporary exhibition. The document concludes by reflecting on the experience of a guest curator, or how showing other artwork allows one to see other work in other ways. |
