| Sumari: | The shows and festivities called “popular” are the most special moments for the use of the body in the Amazigh culture. These usages are supported by both basic attitudes and also by world views peculiar to the Amazigh society. During these collective manifestations, we witness the emergence of an ironic and burlesque body. The techniques used are, to a large extent, similar to the art of the grotesque. Just like “popular” carnivals specific to the various human civilizations, the anthropological content as well as the significant depth of theseAmazigh shows are openly directed against the doxa and the moral and religious values of their reciprocal contexts. |
