Theatre Photography between Theatre and Performance
Focusing on two bodies of images: selected theatre photographs by the Czechoslovakian photographer Josef Koudelka, and a performance-photograph by the Chinese artist Ai Weiwei, we consider photography both as the reproduction of a theatre artwork and as a recording of an event.
