We then turn to the early tales of Caylus, published in Féeries nouvelles (1741), which clearly bear the influence of d’Aulnoy, an influence that lasted throughout his career. Dans cette étude, nous nous concentrons sur l’impact qu’a d’Aulnoy sur le conte de Hamilton, Le Bélier (1730) — une référence directe au conte d’Aulnoy, “Le Mouton” — non seulement en termes de références générales au corpus mais aussi en termes de style et de discours générés par les contes d’Aulnoy. Nous nous tournons ensuite vers les premiers contes de Caylus, publiés dans Féeries nouvelles (1741), qui portent également clairement l’influence d’Aulnoy, influence qui perdure tout au long de sa carrière.
