On the other hand, it raises questions about their relationships with other directors, by whom they wish to be recognised as legitimate interlocutors. Ultimately, employee directors are torn between two conceptions of their role, a tension illustrated by the diverse meanings they ascribe to their compensation. L’analyse de la rémunération que les administrateurs salariés peuvent percevoir au titre de leur mandat met en évidence les enjeux qui sont au cœur de ce dernier. D’un côté, elle soulève la question du rapport que les administrateurs salariés entretiennent aux salariés et aux autres représentants du personnel. De l’autre, elle soulève la question de leur rapport aux autres administrateurs, par lesquels ils souhaitent être reconnus comme des interlocuteurs légitimes. En définitive, les administrateurs salariés sont tiraillés entre deux conceptions de leur rôle, ce que l’examen des significations qu’ils investissent dans leur rémunération permet de révéler. |
