| الملخص: | Artificial intelligence (AI) has revolutionized information and communication, particularly in journalism and media. Henry Kissinger, Eric Schmidt, and Daniel Huttenlocher argue in The Era of Artificial Intelligence and Our Human Future that AI will fundamentally reshape the media industry and drive technological evolution. While researchers highlight benefits such as improved communication, enhanced access to information, and streamlined event coverage, they also point to challenges like credibility issues and data biases. This research adopts a descriptive and analytical approach to examine AI’s impact on journalistic practices and media production, focusing on public engagement with AI-generated content and addressing ethical dilemmas, data privacy concerns, and the potential for misinformation. Guided by Technological Determinism and Medium Theory, the study explores how AI drives changes in media production, distribution, and communication, reshaping professional dynamics and raising critical questions about how media institutions can address these challenges and adapt to rapid technological advancements. |
