| Sammanfattning: | The article examines the collaboration of local women during the German occupation and the Holocaust in Kremenchuk. This city was part of the Kyiv General District of the Reich Commissariat of Ukraine. It analyzes the actions of women who participated in the functioning of the local auxiliary administration as interpreters, secretaries, employees of various departments of the administration, and the passport department of the police, as well as those who did not work in administrative-police bodies but for whom the war, German occupation, and the Holocaust also brought “new opportunities” which they actively used. The primary source base for this paper consists of unpublished material, particularly court cases against women from the archive of the Administration of the Security Service of Ukraine (USBU) in Poltava Oblast, most of which have been analyzed for the first time and introduced into scientific circulation. |
