Resumo:This paper puts forward an analytic ordering of academics’ criminals, suggesting a sociology of sociology of deviance which seeks to grasp its modes of thinking. It is proposed that the totality of scientific utterances regarding criminalized deviance can be distributed in three sets, on the basis of the meaning given to crime. Pathology, choice and social construct are the three fundamental axiomatic principles organizing discursive regularities in academics’ works related to criminalized deviance and its control.
