Niyi Osundare and the Marginalised Majority in Songs of the Season
This reads Osundare’s poems as exhibiting a striking unity of vision, giving expression to the poet’s identification with the marginalized, but also as proceeding from an indebtedness to a variety of traditions, the most important being Yoruba popular (performance) poetry.
