| Tóm tắt: | The Fat Body is the permanence in which Lilian’s story inscribes itself. Her body can be decoded as a response to a distorted situation. She has been dispossessed of herself by her oppressive father. But her ‘Flesh’ opens new prospects that are less gender-based. A farce rather than a tragedy, her story tells of despair and maladjustment, of girls restrained by their skirts and crippled in their selves because of the demands a male-dominated society makes upon their body and existence. But it also tells of survival and possible futures. |
