| Sažetak: | Although the amount of research in the field of the Mediterranean Studies has increased substantially since 2006, the degree of fragmentation has not noticeably changed, and the cumulative payoff of research efforts remains less than it need be. Seven years after the formation of the Encuentro group, le Centre de la Méditerranée Moderne et Contemporaine in Nice, and Sciences Po in Menton convened a meeting to consider how the events of the last two or three years have affected the research agenda of Mediterranean scholars. At this meeting, many questions were raised about what the field has accomplished to date, and what changes might be made in the light of recent events. |
