| Résumé: | Excavations carried out at Kota Cina between 2011 and 2016 have yielded very few finds dated between the middle of the fourteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century. The only notable exception comes from a pit revealed in trench KC63 (sector E), which yielded an abundant material thought to represent a single assemblage. Thirty pieces of porcelain and stoneware, some complete or almost complete, are described in this contribution. These include jars, plates, bowls, cups and spoons of Chinese and European manufactures. The glassware includes six bottles made in Europe. Based on the dating of these wares, as well as the economic context, this assemblage could represent the belongings of a relatively well-to-do Chinese family, sometime between the late 1880s and the 1920s. |
