Description
Résumé:In this work, we seek to describe and analyse the processes that led to the transformation of the built environments among the Kaiowa from Mato Grosso do Sul over the course of a century and a half. For such a scope, instead of looking at such transformations as the result of acculturation or a mere change of aesthetic, we’ll focus mainly on technical relations that show how the experiences of the indigenous people with new materials and architectural structures have favoured a flexibilization of the domestic organization and ecology, turning the territorial mobility more capillary and making the production of an ample variation of shapes and residential structures.
