| Résumé: | Based on the observation that the intellectual contributions of Africanist research regrettably still have only a limited impact on how this continent is presented in the educational system, this article seeks to popularize certain aspects of that research, in particular for secondary school teachers. The author analyzes documents (both original sources and book summaries) which can serve as course materials, and she develops three key concepts around which to build curriculum sections. These are adapted to the 11th-grade history program (for both general students and those specializing in history and geography). |
