| Περίληψη: | The concept of sublimation equals a theory of work in psychoanalysis. It poses, as it was thought by Freud and then his heirs, an incalculable number of difficulties, noted in all the work devoted to it. This article puts forward the hypothesis that the difficulties and impasses of the theory of sublimation are partly due to the problematic treatment of artistic work in psychoanalysis, particularly on the methodological level. The work of artists constitutes in fact the only work to which psychoanalytic authors are interested early, lasting and collectively. This journey will also make visible some Freud’s and his heirs’ intuitions regarding the question of work and to try to understand why they could not be transformed into the theory of sublimation. |
