| Resumo: | Pleasure and Suffering, Justice and Injustice at Work from a Socio-Historical PerspectiveBased on a socio-historical approach, the author is proposing a critical discussion of the terms pleasure/suffering in connection to industrial labor situations. The interpretative dimensions of the experiences of the laborers in terms of suffering/pleasure, justice/injustice are based on interactions that are established between the workers and the researchers. Based on examples of labor-court legal actions, the author demonstrates the role played by argumentative work on the one hand and on the other, the course of the dramatic action that characterizes successful mediation. To conclude, the article concludes with a discussion on the status of the truth in relation to the practice of surveys on work situation. |
