| Summary: | The magazine Les Inrockuptibles appears as a benchmark for the rock press in France. This article, however, is less interested in the relationships that the title maintained with this musical genre than in those that it established with the intellectual and political world during the decade 1995-2005. Based on an analysis of actors’ words, an analysis of contents and a study of a corpus of news articles, it aims to retrace the editorial trajectory of the title over the period by focusing on the conditions of production and conversion of a discursive authority which imposes itself in the world of rock, then in that of cultural criticism, before asserting itself in the public sphere. |
