| Shrnutí: | The authors examine data on syntactic variation from a typological viewpoint, concentrating on verbal constructions. Examples predominantly derived from written sources highlight strategies perceived as « deviant ». The analysis, carried out simultaneously at syntactic, semantic and discoursive pragmatic level, reveals a tendency to use enunciations with only one argument, to substitute « richer diatheses » for active and passive voices, and the inversion of neutral perspectivization. The origin of the examples under scrutiny (mainly taken from newspapers) and their rate of recurrence lead the authors to investigate the question of the discoursive function of these constructions and to describe the textual type they belong to from a synchronic perspective. On the other hand, the results show that, far from being exceptional, the strategies analyzed instigate linguistic change. |
