सारांश:Arendt’s reflections on truth are very interesting to think about critical teaching, this is what Fabre has already shown in his 2019 book. Truths of fact are indisputable while truths of reason are constructed and can be submitted for discussion. This is what we experienced with students having to visit the martyr village of Oradour-sur-Glane. Living nearby, some of them are convinced that another village should have been massacred but that the Germans would have been wrong in 1944. This is what many people already believed at the time. This persistent rumor is often deconstructed by teachers since the evidence leaves no doubt. We wanted to go further and show the potential of a problematized historical inquiry into the reasons for the existence of this rumour.
