| Shrnutí: | My photographic and performative practices examine the possibility of an ungendering – a political project at the core of my trans identity dynamics and at the intersection of representations. My artistic projects, informed by theoretical considerations, have led me to question the gendered gaze and to envision a more general disidentification through desexing, processes of identity abstractions, and demultiplications. The utopian and paradoxical project of self-determination also lies at the heart of my research. I thus commend the perpetual and virtuous failure of any attempt at reaching a state of transition, however necessary it may be. |
