| Tóm tắt: | This article focuses on the construction of inequalities during early childhood. It is based on a 9-month ethnographic study, conducted from 2022 to 2023, in a childcare centre that welcomes, in equal proportion, children residing in a medical-social institution and children from the local neighbourhood. The study monitors a small cohort of children from the infant section to the older toddler section. It aims to understand how inequalities are formed and mitigated throughout the nursery journey, at the intersection of class, gender and race relations and under the combined effect of family and extrafamilial socialisation. Findings indicate that while this mixed-care approach helps reduce differences and inequalities between children, particularly in terms of health, it does not eliminateine qualities in language development oruse of books. |
