They added them to the shelves of the monastic library, which was (re)built at the beginning of the fifteenth century.La présente contribution se propose de montrer en quoi les études universitaires des moines participèrent du dynamisme intellectuel observé à Saint-Bertin durant les trois derniers siècles de la période médiévale, en étudiant plus particulièrement leur influence sur les pratiques livresques monastiques. Les nombreux moines envoyés à Paris, Louvain et même Cologne pour y étudier la théologie ou le droit canon profitèrent de leur séjour universitaire pour acquérir ou copier des livres, ceux-ci venant ensuite gonfler les rayonnages de la bibliothèque monastique, (re)construite au début du xve siècle.Cairn restricted access |
