| Shrnutí: | The Bible has established itself as one of the major sources of European literature, to the point where we almost forget that it emanates from Near Eastern spaces, and therefore extra-European. However, the study of contemporary Israeli and Palestinian literature requires a reterritorialization of the biblical corpus, insofar as these literatures make use of the biblical corpus in close connection with the status of the Bible in the state of Israel, and according to reading methods drawn from Jewish exegesis, especially from midrash. This is what this article aims to show, while also examining the conditions for understanding this reterritorialization of the Bible when reading Israeli and Palestinian literature in French translation. |
