Résumé:During the second half of the 19th century, french jurisprudence established quality standards applicable to the profession of commercial information agent. For treatment this phenomenon, this study describes the development of commercial intelligence agencies, the administration, organization and methods of these agencies, and the general principles of jurisprudence and the legal reasoning held by french judges. The french jurisprudence contributes to the education of French entrepreneurs; it teaches them to find out before making an important decision. This present study is extracted from a doctoral thesis defended at the university of Artois, the title of which was: The creation of the National foreign trade office (1883-1898): mastery of international competitive information and french power strategy.
