| Özet: | This article focuses on the communicative structures between the Jewish Consistory in Luxembourg, the Reich Association of Jews in Berlin, and the Jewish Council of Elders in Litzmannstadt Ghetto. The time frame covers the period from the annexation of Luxembourg until after the departure of the first deportation transport to Litzmannstadt Ghetto in October 1941. Between the phase of forced emigration and the first transport, all three Jewish institutions corresponded not only with each other but also consistently with the Central Office for Jewish Emigration and later the Office IV B4 (the Judenreferat) in Berlin. The article argues for integrating this communication as well as the fate of deportees into decision-making phases that are often treated in isolation.
