Opis
Sažetak:Winning power was not enough for Alfred Rosenberg. In fact, his fight only began after this “quest for power.” He was fighting to dominate people’s minds. No one who seeks to understand the ideological formation of the Nazi state can avoid Alfred Rosenberg. Following his modest beginnings as a völkisch editor and agitator, Rosenberg was assigned the “world vision” of a totalitarian regime. With his first works, among them Pest in Rußland ( The Plague in Russia, 1922), he made an essential contribution to the establishment of an anti-Semitic representation of the world and above all, of the ideologeme of “Jewish Bolshevism.” The anti-Semitic enemy and the anti-Bolshevik enemy were two sides of the same coin : “Bolshevism is in its essence the form of Jewish world revolution.” If the Soviet subhuman were to be defeated, then the Jewish world enemy would be defeated as well. It is this conviction that brought together Adolf Hitler and Alfred Rosenberg and that led to the war to annihilate the East.
