Résumé:Teaching the Holocaust in SpainIn a country still stifling from the centrality of the memory of the civil war, a country that did not take part in the two great European wars and was weighed down by a long history of Catholicism and anti-Semitism, the memory of the Holocaust encountered problems while forming. How does the Holocaust penetrate civil and political thinking in today’s Spain ? What kind of relationship can be established in view of the mass violence in which Spain was involved (Cuba, 1898) as well as in ancient persecutions such as limpieza de sangre (15th century) and the Expulsion of 1492 ?
